The Things We Keep

Memory · Intimacy · The passage of time

Some things outlive the circumstances that gave them meaning. A photograph with no date. A letter never sent. A familiar object carried from one place to another until its origins become difficult to recall.

The Things We Keep considers the private lives of the things we choose to hold onto. The campaign moves through intimate interiors, forgotten corners, and the quiet spaces where personal histories accumulate. Images feel discovered rather than arranged, marked by the imperfections of analogue photography and the passing of time.

The pieces appear as part of these environments, neither separated from their surroundings nor presented as precious artefacts. They belong to the same imperfect world as everything else.

Nothing is explained entirely. The viewer is left with traces, fragments, and the uneasy feeling that something familiar has been remembered differently.
