A Question of Value
Worth · Perception · Reinterpretation
Value is rarely as objective as it pretends to be. A discarded material becomes a collectible. An ordinary mark becomes a signature. Something overlooked acquires significance the moment someone decides to look again.
A Question of Value explores the uneasy relationship between worth and perception. The campaign draws from auction rooms, workshop floors, found materials, and the visual language of commerce, placing signs of prestige beside things that have been dismissed or forgotten. Surfaces are studied closely. Details are isolated. Familiar symbols appear in unfamiliar company.
The photography shifts between clinical precision and deliberate imperfection, questioning the authority of presentation itself.
The objects occupy this tension without resolving it. They ask no one to agree on what makes something valuable. They simply invite a second look—and leave the final judgement where it belongs.
